Willis ISD is a growing K-12 public school district nestled between the Sam Houston National Forest and Lake Conroe, 45 miles north of Houston, Texas. Willis ISD includes a pre-kindergarten school, six elementary schools, two middle schools and one high school. The district serves 8,800 students.
Willis ISD encompasses 126 square miles in Montgomery County and 32 square miles in San Jacinto County. According to data from the 2020 U.S. Census Bureau report, Montgomery County is the 11th largest county in Texas and one of the top five fastest-growing counties in the United States.
