Hope Squad, an evidence-based, peer-to-peer, suicide prevention program, uses trained and mentored members nominated by their peers to perform intentional outreach with fellow peers who are struggling. Hope Squad members strive to: - Create a safe school environment - Promote connectedness - Support anti-bullying - Encourage mental wellness - Reduce mental health stigma - Prevent substance misuse
