The Erie Humane Society is an independent, registered 501-c3 nonprofit, local, no-kill, fear-free animal shelter. We help orphaned, injured, and abused pets by focusing our efforts on rescuing, rehabilitating, and rehoming; keeping them safe, providing shelter, care and nutrition, and helping them lead happy, healthy lives. Our Mission: RESCUE To provide temporary shelter, veterinary care, and rehabilitation services for needy, domesticated pets in our community. REHABILITATE To provide emotional and physical rehabilitation services to help prepare pets for their next chapter in life. REHOME To provide responsible adoption services through application, home visits, and offering additional training services & counseling.
