Valuing the sacredness and dignity of life, Atkinson Family Services is committed to providing services which enhance and develop skills needed to improve quality of life and healthy relationships.
Purposes
Residential Services
In a home-like environment, our group living and foster family homes will serve people age 0 - 20 through activities of daily living and social, emotional, educational, medical, physical, and behavioral health services.
Behavioral Health Services
We will provide ethical, client-centered, strength-based, behavioral and mental health outpatient services, anger management, and substance abuse counseling services through individual, family, and group settings.
Educational Services
We will provide quality educational services that meet each individual’s needs through non-public school, charter school, distance learning school, career development, vocational training, tutoring, and independent study.
Professional Training
To promote best practices for social service and educational professionals, through live and on-line courses, we will provide didactic, experiential, and self-paced training that is current, culturally-competent, effective, and meets certification, Continuing Education Unit (CEU), and apprenticeship requirements.
