Birmingham County Sports Partnership (CSP), known locally as Sport Birmingham, is part of a national network of 45 CSPs which receives core funding from Sport England, and is one of 6 CSPs in the West Midlands area.

The charity plays a key role in shaping sport and physical activity strategy and policy; developing key strategic partnerships with a wide range of public, private and voluntary sector sport and leisure providers; attracting Investment, levering funding and supporting the delivery of partner programmes (in particular, National Governing Bodies of Sport).
Sport Birmingham works with partners to drive up levels of participation and success in sport at the grassroots level, and supports clubs, coaches and volunteers to ensure that sporting provision meets local need. The charity also work closely with national agencies and funding bodies to aid the delivery of their national strategy and plans across the city.
