The Department of Economics at the University of Zurich is one of the three leading economics departments in Europe and a global leader in the fields of Development Economics and Neuroeconomics. We are the #1 Department on the European Continent based on publications in leading journals of our field. RESEARCH: Our expertise spans most fields of economic research. We are proud to host two world-renowned research laboratories. The ‘Laboratory for Social and Neural Systems Research’ and the ‘Laboratory for Experimental and Behavioral Economics’. EDUCATION: We offer challenging courses for students on all levels. In addition to Undergraduate Courses (BA/MA) the Department offers two Graduate Programs and a Pre-Doc program for young talents.
