Digital Epidemiology Services Inc. (DES), a US based non-profit, works alongside the Centre for Genomic Pathogen Surveillance (CGPS) at the University of Oxford, as does its UK counterpart, Digital Epidemiology Services Ltd. CGPS develops global genomic pathogen surveillance tools and strategies to address infectious disease, including the growing threat of antimicrobial resistance (AMR), facilitating rapid data integration, visualization, analysis and sharing and enabling genomic epidemiology training worldwide. DES applies CGPS-developed tools and capabilities at scale to build and maintain robust pathogen surveillance networks with allied capabilities to interpret and utilize genomic and epidemiological data to improve public health.
