Inaugurated in 1959, the Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche is a private golf course with two 18-hole courses, the club house has been set up in a magnificent 18th century farmhouse, royal dependency of the Palace of Versailles.
The Golf de Saint-Nom-la-Bretèche is reserved for its members, their families and their guests.
At the very beginning of its existence, it already hosted the World Championship in 1963, then, for 34 years, the Lancôme Trophy, a major event on the European circuit in which the best players in the world participated. This has largely contributed to its notoriety and the quality of its courses.
