Founded in 2010, Amoéba is an innovative industrial biotech specialised in the treatment of microbiological risk of natural resources. Our biosolutions are based on a unique micro-organism, the amoeba Willaertia magna C2c Maky. Thanks to our scientific, industrial and commercial know-how, we are able to provide biological alternatives for different applications and industries. 𝙊𝙐𝙍 𝙎𝙊𝙇𝙐𝙏𝙄𝙊𝙉𝙎 💧 Biocide "BIOMEBA": This historical application, initiated at the foundation of the company, enables the treatment of water in cooling towers and uses the amoeba Willaertia magna C2c Maky in its living form. In 2022, the US EPA has approved the use of our active substance in closed cooling systems in the USA, making our solution the first biological biocide approved for global industrial water treatment. 🌱 Biocontrol "AXPERA": Our second technology enables plant protection in agriculture and is based on the antifungal properties of the amoeba in its lysed (non-living) form. In 2022, the US Environmental Protection Agency (US EPA) has granted approval for the use of our solution in agriculture in the USA. In the same year, Austria issued a positive recommendation for the approval of our active substance in Europe. With this innovation, Amoéba contributes to an efficient, secure and more virtuous biological agriculture. Join us on our social networks: Twitter | Youtube 👉 @AmoebaNature
