A privately held, commercial heat-treating company, ThermTech provides value added services to the Forging, Foundry, Machining, and Tool & Die markets. The company is currently ISO 9001 Certified. Specializing in the following processes: Austempering of Ductile Iron and Steel. Hardening or Quenching in Water, Polymer, and Oil of Steels and Irons. Flame hardening of Gears, Sheaves, and Wheels. Gas Nitriding. Gas Carburizing and Carbonitriding. Aluminum Annealing and Aging. Normalizing, Annealing, and Stress Relieving of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous materials. Vacuum hardening of Tool Steels and Super-Alloys. Vacuum Carburizing with capabilities of Quenching in a 15 bar forced Gas quench or Oil quench. ThermTech is currently undertaking a major expansion in 2011 and 2012 where the total capacity for the plant is being upgraded from 48 millions pounds per year to 72 million pounds. Being added are: 2 3500 lb capacity I/Q furnaces for Carburizing and Direct Hardening of steels. 1 Super 36 I/Q furnace for Carburizing and Direct Hardening of steels. 2 Austempering furnaces for hardening of Ductile Iron Castings. 1 Vacuum Carburizing furnace with an integrated Oil Quench for 86XX series of Alloys.
