Retro Track & Air (UK) Ltd is a CAA approved design, production & maintenance organisation. Born out of a lifelong passion for aviation and racing cars, the business founders laid down the foundations of Retro in 1987. With the aim of becoming a substitute for lost wartime OEM's, Retro is now unrivalled, offering high-quality engineering expertise. We’ve built up an enviable reputation as a world-leading facility for the repair and overhaul of vintage aircraft piston engines from all the major manufacturers of the WW2 era.
Whether compiling simple maintenance instructions or reverse engineering significant propulsion system hardware, Retro is at the centre of every aspect of the support provided to customers, trying to keep their ageing fleet of warbirds airborne. Meticulous attention to detail is the name of the game and we have a proud history of providing a world leading service in this field. Backed up by a significant trove of privately acquired archive documentation, we strive to provide historically accurate solutions to original design specifications and data.
