Kordt Engineering Group (KEG) was founded in 2013 by Stephan Kordt, a licensed Civil and Structural Engineer with 20 years of structural engineering experience in a variety of roles including design engineer, field engineer, project manager, project principal, project director and Engineer of Record (EOR).
We have experience in management and designing a large variety of projects, such as hotels, casinos, theaters, museums, night clubs, office buildings, High End Retail tenant improvements, etc., gaining vast experience with all building materials and the UBC and IBC Building Codes.
Over the course of the past sixteen years in Las Vegas, Stephan has built a reputation for getting quality projects with tight deadlines done in time and providing excellent customer service to architects, owners, other consultants and contractors during the design and construction phases.
Notable projects Stephan has worked on in the Las Vegas area include the Crystals at CityCenter (EOR for this Daniel Libeskind designed 3-story High End Retail Center including 80% of the tenant TI’s), Golden Gate Hotel & Casino Expansion, Venetian Casino Resort and Venezia Hotel Tower, World Market Center and the Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace.
Currently KEG is involved in the design of a 3-story Cartier Store in the Miami Design District, an Urban Market in Downtown Las Vegas, a 5-story Student Housing Project in Las Vegas, a Renovation and Addition to the Salvation Army Complex in Torrance, California and several Retail Stores and Casino Renovations in Las Vegas.
We are currently licensed in Nevada, Arizona, California, Florida, Hawaii, New York, Massachusetts and Utah.
