We exist to deliver reliable, high-quality water to our 75,000 customers, wastewater and waste recovery services to 67,000 customers, ensuring the economy and liveability of the central Gippsland region.
Our vision:
We take pride in partnering with the community in providing quality water and waste services so we can enjoy a healthy and sustainable Gippsland for generations to come.
Who are we:
With over 300 operational, engineering, financial, environmental and administrative employees, we are a major local employer for the region serving a population base of 147,000 people. We cover over 5,000 square kilometres, from Drouin in the west to Stratford in the east, and from Mirboo North in the south to Rawson and Briagolong in the north. Our service area is diverse in area and needs, from the fast-growing towns in the west, to the transitioning economy of the Latrobe Valley and providing water and wastewater services to some of Victoria’s largest industrial water users.
We’re managed by a Board of Directors appointed by the Minister for Water.
