TEDxYorkU is the student branch of TEDx at York University. Our mission is to inspire and empower students to become future leaders striving for the extraordinary, while sharing “ideas worth spreading.” We want our students to see the world from different perspectives and to foster a creative and open-minded outlook on life. Our goal is to act as a central platform for student engagement, by expanding the TED talk experience to the York University student body. With the active involvement and interest of all of our members over the past few years, TEDxYorkU has been able to execute several highly anticipated and successful events. These events include our annual TEDxYorkU Conference, as well as our various themed Salon Events and workshops.
