Olive Ridley Project is on a mission to protect sea turtles and their habitats through rescue, rehabilitation, scientific research, education and outreach.
At the core of our work is a passionate and dedicated team of scientists, veterinarians, conservationists, citizen scientists and volunteers. We pride ourselves in being able to collaborate with a wide range of diverse groups in order to reach our goal and fill data gaps in sea turtle conservation.
Since sea turtles are global citizens, the Olive Ridley Project (ORP) works to protect sea turtles and their habitats all over the world. Thanks to the internet and social media, our educational and outreach initiatives reach people from the US, to Germany, to India and Australia.
While we are headquartered in the United Kingdom, our field bases are located across Kenya, Oman, Pakistan, Maldives and Seychelles.
Olive Ridley Project is a registered charity in England and Wales.
