Eindhoven Engine accelerates innovation in the Brainport Region through challenge-based research in its public-private research facility at the TU/e Campus. Teams of our region’s most talented researchers from industry, academia and students will cooperate in Eindhoven Engine research programs to deliver breakthrough technological solutions. These multidisciplinary and cross-organizational teams cooperate by co-location of the team members at the Eindhoven Engine workspace. The co-location is an essential and substantial part of the project, necessary for the acceleration of innovations in the projects and shorten time to market. Projects are executed by consortia with key industrial partners, SMEs and knowledge institutes as Fontys, TU/e and TNO.
Eindhoven Engine consortia will have a technology signature and will be formed around core partners which have their roots and home base in the Brainport ecosystem. The consortia will therefore address new solutions for tackling societal issues in the fields of Health, Energy, Mobility, Agrifood and/or Safety.
Inspiring and challenging ‘moon-shot’ goals with associated deadlines are essential, as well as optimum selection of team members, collaborating in an inspiring work and meeting space which stimulates and facilitates the joint execution of their innovation projects. Dedicated personal and team coaching will be provided by the Eindhoven Engine Academy in order to optimize individual growth, team performance and resulting output and impact.
