The Parklands of Floyds Fork, Louisville’s newest park system, covers nearly 4,000 acres of preserved parkland in eastern and southeastern Louisville, KY.
The Parklands is comprised of four parks—Beckley Creek Park, Pope Lick Park, Turkey Run Park and Broad Run Park—stretching from Shelbyville Road to Bardstown Road. All four parks are now open to the public and are connected by 19 miles of the Louisville Loop, a scenic park drive and include more than 60 miles of trails for hiking, biking and paddling.
The Parklands is free to enter, open 365 days a year, from dawn to dusk.
The Parklands does not receive tax dollars for annual upkeep or operations. Ongoing maintenance and operations are funded solely through private donations and an endowment fund.
