Milieu strives to provide meaningful & inclusive supports for adults and youth, many of which have developmental disabilities, mental health and require trauma related supports. Our Mission is to Empower and Support People as Valued, Contributing Citizens in Communities. Milieu Family Services is dedicated to supporting adults and their families and we are primarily funded through Community Living British Columbia. We offer an array of Residential Services, Employment supports, Personal Support Initiative services, Daytime Outreach services and Community Inclusion programs. While Milieu Children & Family Services provides supports to children, youths and their families. Milieu Children also provides an array of residential services such as, caregiver model, emergency homes, specialized therapeutic homes and 6-12 month group living. We also provide Foster Family Support and FASD Key workers. The South Vancouver Youth Centre (SVYC) is a Youth Hub that offers wrap around services such as, youth transition, family and individual youth counselling, youth evening activity programs, youth advisory, open access resource room that offers safe community resources, information nights and programming for youth and parents. South Vancouver Learning Centre provides an alternative school for youth through Vancouver School Board for youth ages 12 to 18 re-enter the education system for grade 8 through 10, offering customized workshops, learn at your own pace curriculum.
