CEITEC is a centre of scientific excellence in the fields of life sciences and advanced materials and technologies whose aim is to establish itself as a prestigious European centre of science with a state-of-the-art infrastructure and conditions in place to employ the best researchers available. It is a consortium whose partners include the most prominent universities and research institutes in Brno, and it benefits from the support of the Region of South-Moravia and the City of Brno. The Centre will feature modern laboratories with state-of-the-art instrumentation, technologies and infrastructure, which will ensure suitable conditions for conducting both basic and applied research.
