Samuel Thalin founded Hissmekano in 1938, first under the name Stockholm hisservice. The company has since 1938 evolved and specialized its business into supplier of elevator components. Hissmekano is the leading wholesaler of elevator components in Scandinavia and Finland and over 600 customers in Europe. Corporate headquarters are located in Täby, with 20 dedicated employees in Sweden. Hissmekano has established in Germany with a new daughter company, Hissmekano GmbH. Hissmekanos subsidiary in Estonia utilizes advanced CAD / CAM technology to produce many of Hissmekanos elevator components. Hissmekano can in a short time produce products that are hard to find or who have gone out of production in the factory of Estonia. Hissmekano also has a large network of suppliers and aims to always provide all the products our customers need, from guide shoe and door contacts to lift frames and advanced circuit boards.
