Founded in September 2020, the Warwick Professional LGBTUA+ and Allies Network is a society dedicated to preparing and empowering the next generation of LGBTUA+ students at the University of Warwick to reach their career goals. We are growing a new community at Warwick that comprises of talented and diverse students from a multitude of backgrounds. We seek to bridge the gap between employers and our members by equipping these students with professional and interpersonal skills so that they may compete on a level playing field regardless of their sexuality or gender identity.
2022/23 is our second year as an society and we continue to strive for the best opportunities for our members. After winning 3 national awards in our first year, including the Bright Network Diversity & Inclusion Society of the year, we have been kicking off 2022/23 with a bang. We have run as many events in our first term in the entire academic year, won the Bright Network Diversity & Inclusion Society of the Year for a second year running, and have plans in motion for the return of the Warwick LGBTQ+ Careers Summit 2023!
