Inspired by a book by Dale Partridge “People Over Profit”, SR2 | Socially Responsible Recruitment was born. The mission, to create a company that puts people over profit, and operates with transparency, honesty, integrity, and accountability. To be truly Socially Responsible.
We look at companies like Patagonia or Ben & Jerry’s, they are wildly successful financially but also some of the most ethical and responsible businesses around. Businesses pursuing social responsibility and using their business as a force for good inspire us.
In August 2021, SR2 was awarded B Corp™ status with a score of 100.8 (considered outstanding). Certified B Corporations are for-profit companies using the power of business to build a more inclusive and sustainable economy. They meet the highest verified standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. This is confirmation our values aren’t just a clever way of standing out from the crowd, putting people over profit is in our DNA and we use SR2 as a force for good.
But what do we actually do?
Put simply, we are a Recruitment Company covering the Tech, Digital & Engineering markets in the UK, Germany & USA.
But that doesn’t get to the heart of why we’re here.
Recruitment can be a difficult process. At SR2 we do things differently. We want simplify things. We’ll work with you to create a tailored solution, whether you’re looking for a one-off hire or want to create an entire campaign through SR2 SCALE.
Our communities are huge for us, we pour time and energy into supporting those we operate in, such as local charities, organising meetups, creating www.technologyvolunteers.org or supporting D&I via Women Rock. In our first 5 years of business, we have donated over £204,000 to charity which we are super proud of.
