Educate Maine is a business-led education advocacy organization whose mission is to champion college & career readiness and increased education attainment. Educate Maine was created by the merger of the Maine Coalition for Excellence in Education and the Maine Compact for Higher Education. We believe that education is the catalyst and foundation for individual success, engaged citizenship, and sustainable economic growth, and that all Maine people should have equal access to high quality educational opportunities.
