Friends of Yates, Inc. is a non-profit organization with a mission to continuously provide services and a sense of identity to children, youth, adults and senior citizens in the Kansas City, Kansas community. Our Goals: -To serve as a constant community entity where sources of creative energy are reflected in the lives of people of all ages. -To develop a sense of identity and purpose to fulfill the highest potential of children and youth. -To develop skills of coping successfully with the ever changing transitions of adults. -To embrace combined community support efforts that reduce the psychological and emotional affects of domestic violence which impedes the victims ability to regain self worth and self empowerment.
