Western Research Parks is one of Canada's leading science & technology parks and is the catalyst for commercialization, partnership development, research translation, and entrepreneurial learning opportunities at Western University.
Western Research Parks serves as a strong link between academics and commerce and is a key contributor to the movement of an idea or a discovery from concept to marketplace.
The original Research Park, now called Western Discovery Park, is located adjacent to Western University and is home to over 200,000 square feet of office, lab, and industrial grade space, including the Stiller Centre for Technology Commercialization, one of Canada’s most successful biotechnology incubators.
Western has expanded its Park program and contributed to the opening of two more Parks, a 10 hectare site located alongside Highway 401 called the Western Advanced Manufacturing Park, and a 30 hectare location just south of Highway 402 called the Western-Sarnia-Lambton Research Park.
Using a blend of quality facilities, exceptional client services, and strong collaborative partners, Western Research Parks brings together industry, not-for-profits, government, and academia to collaborate, communicate, and connect. It will continue to live its legacy by supporting knowledge-based companies as they positively impact our local and global communities.
