Propilot is a UK CAA approved provider of ATPL theory training.
The company is based at Coventry Airport West in a smart, newly created teaching facility right next to the aircraft apron.
The Head of Training is Graham Cownie - a former RAF QFI and exceptionally experienced trainer.
The Chief Ground school Instructor is Jacqui Suren, a former RAF officer with vast teaching experience of ATPL subjects in a wide range of schools across the globe.
The majority of the school's instructors are current airline pilots - lending credibility and relevancy to their teaching.
The school takes a fresh and different approach to ATPL theory, concentrating on developing a well rounded professional approach to aviation. The focus is on understanding the material and how it relates directly to practical flying situations. Students are often taken out to the aircraft or into the simulator so that they can better understand the systems they're learning about.
All the students are automatically enrolled in Propilot's Tracked Training programme which ensures that written reports on progress attitude and training are created from the first day that an individual embarks his or her professional career.
The school places great emphasis on continuous personal contact. Even though the courses currently offered are distance learning based, the school encourages its students to drop in any time to use the facilities or chat with the teaching staff.
