WBKB-TV is the CBS/Fox/ABC-affiliated television station for the Alpena area of Northeast Michigan. It broadcasts a high definition digital signal on VHF channel 11 from a transmitter south of Hubbard Lake in Alcona County. Owned by the Marks Radio Group, the station has studios on North Bagley Street in Alpena. WBKB is the only commercial television station in Northeast Michigan.
WBKB-TV airs newscasts weekdays at 6:30 a.m., 6 p.m. and 11 p.m.; also on weekends at 11 p.m. A public affairs program called Insights into Northeast Michigan runs every Sunday.
Syndicated programming on WBKB-CBS includes: Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, Ellen, and Dr. Phil. In 2022, WBKB began providing NBC programming on a second digital subchannel. WBKB also carries ABC programming on a third digital subchannel. They operate the area's primary Fox/MyNetworkTV affiliate on a fourth digital subchannel. Syndicated programming on WBKB-FOX includes: Inside Edition, The Dr. Oz Show and The People's Court.
