HandsOn San Diego creates opportunities for community members to volunteer and lead within their communities by connecting them with the organizations that need their help. As of 2013, HandsOn San Diego has recruited close to 50,000 volunteers, completed 5,313 projects, and completed 126,464 community service hours serving 259 schools, parks, and nonprofits.
