In January of 2008, our team set out to discover a better way of doing business which meets the needs of our customers while providing significant value. Ater much research, it became clear that MPS is such an offering.
In April 2009, Inkwell began offering MPS. Since our implementation in April 2009, the number of personnel working within the Inkwell division has grown from 3 to 18 in order to meet the needs of our growing customer base.
What Is MPS?
Managed Print Services (MPS) is the active management and optimization of print devices.
What does Inkwell provide in partnering with customers through MPS?
1.A team of Inkwell consultants, auditors, and strategists conduct an assessment of existing fleet by documenting each device by make, model, and location. Inkwell then conducts an audit of how many documents are produced by each device on a monthly basis.
2.Inkwell collects all cost information including copier leases, maintenance agreements, break-fix service, preventative maintenance, and printer cartridges.
3.Our team compiles all collected data revealing a total monthly expenditure and total monthly volume of both mono (b&w) and color pages.
4.A strategy is formed which provides new, faster equipment, fleet standardization, and scanning capabilities where beneficial.
5.Inkwell provides results to customer and proposes to implement strategy while providing documented savings.
