Kitchen Theory is an experimental kitchen and gastronomic design studio. Working closely with Oxford University's crossmodal department we are pioneering the field of gastrophysics - the combination of gastronomy and psychophysics – gastronomy being the knowledge and understanding of all that relates to man as he eats, and psychophysics being the branch of psychology that deals with the relations between physical stimuli and mental phenomena.
Our knowledge and research in the field allows us to understand how our senses can shape our perception of flavour and the world around us to design multisensory experimental dining experiences and senseplorations as well as hosting public engagement events to raise awareness.
Our chefs table is the most multisensory luxury dining experience in London.
