Far East Investment and Export Agency ('the Agency') was founded by the Russian Government to attract Advanced special economic zones residents, direct investment, and for the promotion of export. The Agency is an integral part of the system of state Far East development institutions, in order to effectively support new projects in the region.
The Agency helps Russian and foreign investors find and develop investment projects in the Far East. Priority projects for the Agency come from industries such as agriculture, forestry and fishery, oil and gas processing, mechanical engineering, transport and tourism.
The Agency collaborates with project starters across all development stages from business idea and draft concept to marketing and equity/debt financing.
Another important function of the Agency is forming a positive and distinctive image of the Russian Far East for the target audience of Russian and foreign investors as a friendly territory to host an investment project.
Finally, we assist Russian Far East producers in exporting their goods to the Asia Pacific countries.
The Agency was launched in August 2016.
