DANAT FZ LLC-owned by Argaam was founded in the beginning of 2006 to build and promote the largest e-market place in the Middle East. Funded by Saudi investors, the company partnered with Microsoft for the development of the website, HP for the hardware, Alpha Data for network and hardware management and Memac Ogilvy for branding and marketing activities.
