Amsterdam University Press (AUP) was founded in 1992 by the University of Amsterdam. This young, rapidly growing publishing house boasts a backlist of more than 1600 English and Dutch language titles and publishes more than 80 new academic monographs, 15 scientific journals and 15 textbooks each year. The subjects covered range from European History, to Asian Studies, Media & Communication, and Linguistics.
