Cherokee Health Systems (CHS) is a Federally Qualified Health Center that provides primary care, behavioral health, dental services, addiction services, optometry services, and more to people across Tennessee. We also provide telehealth and on-site services to students in more than 35 area schools. At CHS, no one is ever denied treatment based on an inability to pay. We have a national reputation as a pioneer and leader in integrated care -- an approach in which we embed behavioral health providers alongside primary care physicians to provide the full range of patient care. The mission of CHS is to enhance the health and well-being of our community by providing high-quality, integrated, comprehensive, equitable, and person-centered healthcare for all.
CHS receives funding from the federal government and the Tennessee Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (TDMHSAS). The United States Civil Rights Act of 1964 and Tennessee Code Annotated (T.C.A.) 4-21-904 ensure your right to receive equal treatment and service opportunities regardless of your race, color, national origin, or English proficiency. No person receiving services at Cherokee Health Systems shall be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, national origin, or English proficiency. Should you feel that you have been discriminated against, please contact qicoordinator@cherokeehealth.com
