Reach Child and Youth Development Society is a CARF accredited, non-profit organization that has been providing education,therapy and support to children and families since 1959. Reach provides programs and services to children with special needs from birth to age 19 and their families, including services specific to children with autism and children with FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder). Over 1000 children and their families benefit from Reach Society services annually. We serve children and families in the regions of Delta, Surrey and Langley, B.C.
Reach recognizes the fundamental, life-long role of the parent and that the most effective way to provide support is to enable and empower families. It is our role to increase family capacity by providing ongoing education along with family-centered, individualized and responsive service. This will ensure families experience success and each child is given the opportunity to reach their potential.
We have brought together professionals with expertise and knowledge in a variety of areas including Early Childhood Educators, Speech Language Pathologists, Behavioural Consultants, Supported Child Development Consultants, Occupational Therapists, Infant Development Consultants and others. Reach professionals are experts in their field with extensive experience supporting families and children, passionate about thier work, and dedicated to making a difference.
