Crowe Tanzania is a firm of Certified Public Accountants in Public Practice. Crowe Tanzania and its associate company Crowe Tax & Advisory Tanzania Ltd are members of Crowe Global. Crowe Global is ranked among the top 10 global accounting network with more than 200 independent accounting and advisory services firms in over 130 countries around the world. Crowe Tanzania started its operations in 1994 under the name of M. B. Nasser & Co. and is registered with the National Board of Accountants and Auditors and all other regulatory authorities relevant to its line of work. In 2000 the firm became affiliated to Grant Thornton, an international accountancy organization operating in over 100 countries, bringing together more than 20,000 personnel in over 600 offices worldwide. With effect from 1st April 2008, the firm changed its international affiliation to Crowe Horwath International and changed its name to Horwath Tanzania. In June 2018, Crowe Horwath International changed its network brand name to Crowe Global. Accordingly Horwath Tanzania changed its name to Crowe Tanzania.
