Volkswagen Infotainment GmbH develops tomorrow's mobility solutions as a component of the Volkswagen Group, under the CARIAD-umbrella. It was founded in August 2014 after the aqcuisition of BlackBerry's European R&D site in Bochum. The company's main site is located at Rensingstraße in Bochum. It also maintains another site in the center of Bochum and one in Wolfsburg. The majority of our employees are software developers and engineers and we work with our company languages German and English. Effective December 2022 we boast more than 950 employees from 50 different nations. Our slogan "Better Connected" reflects our specialist knowledge for connectivity of the next generation cars of the Volkswagen Group. We supply the various brands of the Volkswagen Group with our mobility solutions.
