The Accademia Europea di Firenze is an international school of Italian, Music, Art, Dance and Culture.
Founded in 2005, the Accademia Europea di Firenze began as an Italian language school for foreigners. Over time, the school expanded its curriculum to include humanistic studies, music, the liberal arts and the performing arts, while providing an extraordinary combination of quality and individual attention. Thanks to this philosophy, the Accademia is able to offer the most complete response for any training or educational need.
The Accademia is located in the very heart of Florence, in Palazzo Niccolini, Via Cavour, 37. In the past, Via Cavour was named Via Larga and it was the city’s widest street and was chosen in the early 1400s by the Medici family as an area for future urban expansion. Here, Cosimo il Vecchio built Palazzo Medici Riccardi, in the centre of the new Renaissance Florence, halfway between the cathedral and the church of San Marco.
Now, about six centuries later, students at the Accademia Europea di Firenze have the opportunity to study in a Renaissance palace, perfectly restructured and equipped with the most modern technologies to make it an ideal site uniting study and beauty, learning and culture.
