Life Education Trust have been educating New Zealand children for over 35 years. Today, we are New Zealand’s largest health education provider in schools.
Known for our fleet of mobile classrooms and mascot Harold the giraffe, our specialist Educators travel throughout the country using technology and individualised lessons to engage children, creating unique and memorable learning experiences. Every year through the Healthy Harold programme we teach over 250,000 children to embrace healthy choices – learning about their body, friendships, their identity, food and nutrition and helpful and harmful substances.
In secondary schools we support rangatahi through three Theatre-in-Education programmes. SMASHED informs and educates young people on the dangers of underage drinking, promoting responsible attitudes to alcohol. SMART$, encourages financial literacy, empowering young people to make positive financial choices. Behind the Scenes explores vaping and social media influence.
Life Education is a charity funded by donations, grants and commercial supporters.
