Company Details
PADJAM was incorporated in 2015 under registration No. 1946 so as to start a Acrilonitrile Butadiene Styrene/Rubber unit. Located in the PARS Energy Special Economic Zone, Asaluyeh port, this ABS/Rubber unit will have a production capacity of 200,000 tons per year for ABS and 60,000 tons a year for Rubber. Thirty thousand tons of the rubber unit’s production are planned to be used as the feed of the ABS unit. Select Contractors for Implementation and Commissioning of This Project: 1. Polimeri Europa: the Project’s licensor; 2. Tecnimont: provider of the Project’s basic engineering; and 3. Jondi Shapoor Company: the Project’s EPC based contractor. ABS UNIT’S FEED Styrene, acrilonitrile and butadiene serve as the starting materials of ABS polymer. Styrene and butadiene will be supplied from PARS Petrochemical Company and JAM Petrochemical Company, respectively. And acrilonitrile will be imported. Production Technology ABS can be produced by means of emulsion polymerization or bulk polymerization or a combination of these two. The method selected for this Project is the continuous mass polymerization under the license of Europe Polymer Company. Advantages of Continuous Mass Polymerization 1. Lower production costs; 2. The least residual (non-reacted) starting materials left in resultant product; and 3. Low environmental pollution. ABS/Rubber Applications ABS is most importantly employed in the production of electrical and electronic devices and auto-parts. SBR and LCBR rubbers are among most frequently used synthetic rubbers, and this Project will utilize them as the feed for the ABS unit. The most common application of these rubbers is in tire manufacture industries.
