Located in beautiful historic Lewes, Delaware, Beebe Healthcare offers an array of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and diagnostic services. Founded in 1916 by two physician brothers, Drs. James Beebe and Richard C. Beebe, the hospital on the Margaret H. Rollins Health Campus in Lewes is a 210-licensed-bed, not-for-profit community hospital. Beebe's specialized service lines include cardiac and vascular, oncology, orthopaedics, population and community health, women's health, and surgical services.
In addition to the Margaret H. Rollins Lewes Campus, Beebe operates two additional health campuses. The Rehoboth Beach Health Campus includes the Tunnell Cancer Center, Outpatient Surgery Center, Specialty Surgical Hospital, outpatient services and Beebe Medical Group practices. The South Coastal Health Campus includes a free standing emergency department and South Coastal Cancer Center. There are additional locations for primary care, specialty services and outpatient services in Georgetown, Long Neck, Milford, Millsboro and Millville. Beebe also offers Home Care throughout Sussex County and is proud to have the only hospital based nursing school in the state, the Margaret H. Rollins School of Nursing.
Our Medical Staff has grown tremendously since the early 1990s. Family practice physicians, specialists, internists, and several surgeons are available so residents do not have to travel long distances for quality medical treatment.
