Storycatchers amplifies the voices of system-impacted young people through program pathways rooted in the creative arts, helping them envision and pursue meaningful futures.
At Storycatchers, we are committed to serving the needs of adolescents and young adults who are system-impacted. By exploring the meaning of and turning their own stories into art, Storycatchers youth and young adult participants learn not only the joys of self-expression but also how to respect different perspectives, blend their voices with others in productive ways, build valuable life skills, and write the next chapter of their own stories.
Founded in 1984 by Meade Palidofsky, Storycatchers has adapted to the diverse needs of system-impacted young people as they navigate the path toward adulthood, and expanded to include a wide variety of creative and performing art forms that help the young people we serve find their voice and determine the course their lives will take in the future.
