Fibre concrete technology – our core competence
Fibre concrete technology has been our concern for over 30 years, it is our core competence. We continuously implement and embody the very latest findings from research and development in all our fibre products. Fibrofor and Concrix are our strong branded products.
Fibre concrete wherever possible, steel reinforcement where absolutely necessary
It’s a known fact that traditional concrete reinforcement methods are associated with high costs for transport to the construction site, for handling and for placing the construction steel. In applications where fibres products are used for structural reinforcement, construction steel can be largely or even totally eliminated. This results in lower transport costs, reduced risks of injury during placement and reduced building cost. Additionally, there are ecological benefits (carbon footprint) from using Fibrofor or Concrix fibres.
The use of modified synthetic fibres is becoming increasingly diversified
Avoid the time-consuming work of placing reinforcement mesh or bars, by using Fibrofor and Concrix products. Costly reinforcement assemblies in concrete construction elements (e.g. the prefabricated element industry) can be markedly reduced. This improves quality and service life. Through the optimally, three-dimensional distribution of fibers the concrete is reinforced throughout; all the way to the surface! Corrosion problems and concrete spalling caused by progressive carbonating and corrosion with steel fibre concrete, are a thing of the past.
Our fibres should be used according to economic criteria and your specific requirements. Our specialists are always available to assist you.
