The Philippine-Italian Association (PIA) is a non-profit, cross-cultural and educational organization based in Makati City and was created to advocate and further enhance Philippine-Italian friendship in the field of education, culture, language and social.
For 60 years, we have been championing friendship between the people of the Philippines and Italy as a bridge between our two cultures.
Today, the PIA has an Italian language school and it's an Italian language proficiency CILS exams center.
The PIA is a founding member of EUNIC Philippines and is part of the Culture and Education group of the EU Delegation to the Philippines. Works closely with the Embassy of Italy in Manila as well as with many Philippine governmental agencies on a number of cultural projects.
The PIA has agreements with Philippine and Italian universities for language, culture and education projects.
Since 2022, the PIA is housing the Patronato ACLI Manila, a social assistance service addressed to workers and beneficiaries of an Italian pension.
The PIA has also a translation and interpretation department, whose services are registered at the Embassies of Italy and Switzerland.
