Hestia Architects Ltd is a young and dynamic practice working based in Oxford, and working across the south of England. We specialise in the conservation of historic buildings including churches, houses, and monuments, as well as the design of sensitive alterations, contextually considered new buildings, extensions and decorative pattern design.
The practice can perform a full range of traditional architectural services, including:
- Feasibility studies
- Condition surveys
- Quinquennial inspection reports;
- Design proposals through to detail design and productiondrawings
- Bespoke design solutions that address complex and sensitive problems and give added value to their immediate context;
- Preparation of documentation and drawings for the submission of applications for planning permission, Listed Building Consent, Scheduled Ancient Monument Consent, and petitions for Faculty
- Preparation of documentation for Building Control submissions
- Preparation of documentation and running competitive tenders; and administering projects onsite.

Hestia Architects was founded in 2020 by Henry Sanders; he is a RIBA Chartered Architect, an Architect Accredited in Building Conservation (AABC) and a SPAB Scholar with over twelve years’ experience of working with historic buildings.
