Talaka is a non-for-profit Association founded by the Belarusians and the friends of Belarusian people in Denmark on the wave of uprising of National Solidarity of Belarusians after the Aug 2020 presidential election. Our visions is democratic, sovereign and prosperous Belarus recognised by the Belarusians and the international community for its political freedoms, respect for human rights and the supremacy of law. Our goals are: 1. To unite citizens and organisations associated with Belarus residing in Denmark 2. To disseminate knowledge about Belarus in Danish society, including knowledge of the country's culture, language, history, traditions and values 3. To expand the cultural, economic and humanitarian co-operation between Belarus and Denmark through the establishment and maintenance of contacts with Danish authorities, Danish political decision-makers and various public and non-governmental organizations both inside and outside Denmark 4. And to promote the integration of citizens with connections to Belarus residing in Denmark Our values are: 1. Democracy 2. Freedom of speech 3. Respect for human rights 4. Sovereignty
