First and foremost, our magazine is for writers. Designed as a place of comfort and support for those who are new to the industry as well as those who are old friends, we house everything from short fiction and essays, to writing prompts, author interviews and writing advice. Aiming to publish 4-5 brand new articles every week, Writer’s Edit always stays on top of the latest industry news and opportunities.
Unlike a lot of other literary publications, Writer’s Edit believes in strong relationships with our writers. We offer advice, inspiration, feedback, friendship and a fresh and engaging publication platform for emerging authors, without the affiliate sales pitches. As writers ourselves, we understand more about the writer’s plight than the average publication, and so we aim to reply to every query and every submission with honesty and encouragement.
Our short-term goals are to continue to provide a home for aspiring writers and their work, as well as help them better their craft and get outside their comfort zones. In the future, we hope to publish an annual print anthology that includes not only the best of Writer’s Edit online, but also exclusive stories, advice and insights into the industry. Long-term, our dream is to evolve into a small press, where we can play a bigger part in helping the development of the future Austens and Fitzgeralds.
