Swan Hill Rural City Council plays a vital role in shaping the prosperity, health and wellbeing of our communities. Our municipality covers more than 6000 square kilometres along the mighty Murray River in northern Victoria, and is home to almost 21,000 people. Swan Hill is a modern and thriving regional centre, while other areas of the municipality offer many enviable characteristics of rural living, with strong community spirit, beautiful surrounds and relaxed living. Agriculture and manufacturing drive our local economy, with tourism a key industry too.
