Horton Housing's mission is to help people to live the best life they can through the provision of high quality housing, training, care and support.
Some of our key achievements over the last year include starting a new joint venture with Bevan Healthcare CIC in the creation of the Bradford Respite & Intermediate Care Support Service (BRICSS); which provides short term accommodation to homeless people who have been discharged from hospital. Investment in a new housing management and finance system (Kypera) will help us to support staff throughout our services to focus on more client led and valued added activities. Clients made significant positive achievements and our latest survey demonstrated that 90% of clients were satisfied or very satisfied with the overall service they have received. Our annual staff survey in August showed similar results, revealing that 93% of staff believe Horton is a great place to work.
We are always looking for great people to join us that can help us in our mission to transform peoples’ lives – people who want to make a difference, help improve our services and support Horton values. As an organisation where we are committed to developing and valuing our people, you can expect us to support and develop you to reach your full potential and provide you with a working environment where you are able to thrive and learn new skills. We have a strong commitment to equality and diversity and therefore seek to recruit, retain and develop the careers of people from a wide range of ethnic, cultural, religious and social backgrounds.
