Piedmont Virginia Community College (PVCC) is a comprehensive, public institution of higher education that awards associate degrees and certificates. As part of the Virginia Community College System, PVCC serves the City of Charlottesville and the counties of Albemarle, Buckingham, Fluvanna, Greene, Louisa and Nelson. PVCC employs 75 full-time faculty members, 19 administrative and non-teaching faculty and 78 classified staff. More than 250 talented adjunct faculty teach courses each semester.
